More than 100 Bikers from Milwaukee, Madison and across Wisconsin
Join Together on Saturday ride to raise awareness & seek an end to commercial sex trade
WHAT:
More than 100 motorcyclists from across Wisconsin join forces in the second annual HEMAD Ride to Fight Human Trafficking. HEMAD (Human trafficking Educators working with Men and boys to stand Against the Demand) asks men to take a public stand against human trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of adults and children.
WHEN:
Saturday, August 3
9 a.m. – Registration
10 a.m. – Kickstands up, Ride to Madison begins
11 a.m. – Riders arrive in Madison
11:30 a.m. – Brief program and riders take the HEMAD pledge
12 p.m. – Ride back to Milwaukee begins

Members of several motorcycle clubs and other motorcyclists from across Wisconsin
$20 per Rider and $10 per passenger; Non-bikers can participate in cars for the same price

WHY & MORE INFO:
· All participants will receive a HEMAD patch for their jackets or vests, a HEMAD poker chip and wristbands to show their support in the fight against human trafficking
· The inaugural ride in 2023 raised $600. Organizers hope to raise at least $1,000 on Saturday
· Statistics show that human trafficking exists in urban, suburban and rural areas in Wisconsin
· In 2018, 3,000 men took the HEMAD pledge. Since then, the movement has spread with more than 60,000 men in 11 states and two foreign countries taking the pledge.
· HEMAD is a program of Convergence Resource Center (CRC) directed at men on the importance of ending human trafficking.
