Green Bay Chamber: Registration now open for the Wisconsin Childcare Summit

GREEN BAY, Wis. (July 24, 2024) – Registration is now open for the Wisconsin Childcare Summit presented by American Family Insurance. This event will take place on Wednesday, September 11 at Resch Expo in Green Bay.

The Greater Green Bay Chamber is hosting the Wisconsin Childcare Summit to convene visionary business leaders and decision-makers committed to learning more about and addressing the childcare crisis in our state. Through a business-centric approach to the childcare crisis, we strive to create a platform where leaders can learn about the economic impact and discuss workforce retention and attraction strategies.

“Businesses share with us their experiences with the challenges facing the labor market, and the lack of accessible, affordable childcare for their workforce often comes up in those conversations,” said Eric DeKorne, Vice President of Membership. “We understand that there is no quick fix to the childcare crisis. Our goal is to gather business leaders from around the state to hear more from subject matter experts.”

The Wisconsin Childcare Summit features keynote speaker, Joseph Fuller, a Professor of Management Practice at the Harvard Business School. He studies issues related to employment and income polarization and the relationship between talent, corporate strategy and economic competitiveness.

Event registration is $85 and includes access to the event along with breakfast and lunch. For more information about the Wisconsin Childcare Summit, visit https://www.greatergbc.org/childcare-solutions-taskforce/wisconsin-childcare-summit.
