Fox Cities Chamber: Encourages local businesses to apply for Project Pitch It Season 9

FOX CITIES, Wis. (October 30, 2024) –  The Fox Cities Chamber is excited to announce that applications are now open for Season 9 of Project Pitch It, Wisconsin’s very own TV show that highlights local entrepreneurs pitching their businesses to Wisconsin business leaders—referred to as the “moguls” on the show. This unique program offers a friendlier, Midwestern version of Shark Tank, tailored specifically for the Wisconsin business community.

Whether a start-up or an established business, large or small, Project Pitch It is looking for companies that are making an impact in Wisconsin. Every participant in the show walks away a winner, receiving not only a cash prize but also mentorship and resources from the moguls.

Project Pitch It has featured 196 entrepreneurs since its inception and awarded over $4 million in cash, mentorship, and resources. Impressively, 98% of the entrepreneurs featured since Season 1 are still in business today, with 69% of these businesses being women- or minority-owned.

Applications for Season 9 are now being accepted online, with an audition deadline of Friday, November 8, 2024. To apply, entrepreneurs must submit a two-minute pitch video that includes their personal story, the inspiration behind their business, and how participation in Project Pitch It can help elevate their company to the next level.

Project Pitch It is not just a TV show—it’s a launching pad for businesses to gain visibility, expand their networks, and access valuable resources for growth. The show, which airs statewide, has been instrumental in supporting entrepreneurs across various industries, reinforcing the Chamber’s mission to foster economic development, support local businesses, and build a thriving community.
