Eppstein Uhen Architects: Hires Emily Dunn as Director of Workplace Strategy and Kendall Tynes as experiential graphic design leader

MILWAUKEE (April 1, 2024) — EppsteinUhen Architects (EUA), is pleased to announce Emily Dunn as its new director of workplace strategy and Kendall Tynes as its experiential graphic design (EGD) leader.

In her role as director of workplace strategy, Dunn will provide leadership and guide cross-functional teams in executing strategic initiatives. She brings over 20 years of experience in workplace, change management and organizational strategies. Known for her practical and data-driven approach, Dunn develops design solutions that enhance occupant engagement and well-being. Her collaborative efforts with clients focus on integrating their culture and objectives into inspiring and functional designs.

“Human behavior is truly fascinating,” says Dunn. “Understanding how people interact with each other and their built environment continues to captivate me. The constant surprises, in a positive way, fuel my desire to delve deeper and expand my knowledge.”

Dunn holds a Master of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University, with a minor in real estate and an Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategy and Human & Organizational Practice from Vanderbilt University. Her educational journey began with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Arizona.

In her new position as EGD leader, Tynes will lead efforts to enhance EGD services for EUA’s clients, serving as a valuable resource across offices and markets to ensure continued success.

With a strong foundation in architectural design from Parsons the New School for Design, Kendall brings 15 years of experience, having been based in New York City throughout her career. Outside of her role, Kendall is actively engaged with industry-leading organizations such as the Professional Association for Design (AIGA) and the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD).

“I have worked with Kendall for a number of years on key corporate priority projects and have always been both impressed and inspired by her work,” said Christine Everett, former client from Travelers and Boehringer Ingelheim. “She brings both great design and strategic thinking to the table that results in innovative solutions.”
