Madison, Wis. – The Devil’s Advocates Radio Show airs their final broadcast tonight across the Civic Media radio network. For the last two years the show has been broadcast weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m. across Civic Media radio stations covering most of the state of Wisconsin.
Show hosts Mike Crute and Dominic Salvia started The Devil’s Advocates more than 10 years ago on 92.1 FM The Mic in Madison, and the show has been on the air in one form or another since then, including syndication in distant markets ranging from Phoenix, AZ to Eureka, CA. In recent years the show has broadcast from the WRRD studios on Brady St in Milwaukee, from Madison on WTTN, and for the last two years on Civic Media’s new radio network. Since early 2024 the show has operated as an independent product carried by Civic Media and WCPT 820 in Chicago.
Dom and Crute’s signature mix of humor and political commentary has endeared them to their audience and undoubtedly helped voters make better decisions.
Show founder Mike Crute was a co-founder of Civic Media, and the Devil’s Advocates Radio Show was the anchor around which Civic Media was built. Civic Media would not exist without his inspiration and tireless dedication to talk radio and Wisconsin politics.
We wish hosts Mike Crute and Dom Salvia the best of luck in their future endeavors, and we will not be surprised to hear them on the air again someday elsewhere on the dial.
CIVIC MEDIA is a new radio and digital media venture with 20 radio stations across Wisconsin in 12 distinct media markets, including 12 news/talk stations featuring local and statewide programming and 8 music stations broadcasting adult hits, country, and oldies formats.
