MILWAUKEE, WI, APRIL 25, 2024 – The Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter is thrilled to announce that Jeff Levering, the talented play-by-play voice of the Milwaukee Brewers, has been named the Honorary Statewide Chair for the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s® events in Wisconsin. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research, raising crucial funds and awareness for the cause.
The Alzheimer’s Association of Wisconsin is also excited to share the return of its highly successful “Sportscasters Against Alzheimer’s” initiative for the 4th consecutive year. This impactful program has been a game-changer in raising awareness and concern about Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s 7th leading cause of death, which affects over 110,000 Wisconsinites.
“We are thrilled to have Jeff Levering join us as the Honorary Chair for the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Wisconsin and as part of the Sportscasters Against Alzheimer’s team,” said David Grams, Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter. “Jeff’s passion for this cause and his incredible influence as a beloved sportscaster will be invaluable in helping us connect with even more people and make an even bigger impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s.”
As the Honorary Chair, Jeff Levering will leverage his platform and connections to drive greater awareness and support for the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. He will use his voice and influence to inspire more people across Wisconsin to get involved, whether through participating in the Walk, volunteering, or spreading the word about this important cause.
