Isabella receives a basket of books from Worzalla

Stevens Point, Wisconsin (June 7, 2023) –Worzalla, an employee-owned printing company specializing in high-quality children’s books, cookbooks, and hardcover best sellers, congratulates this month’s “Dive Into Reading This Summer” winner, 11-year-old Isabella Osowski of Stevens Point. Isabella, who read 35 books in June, loves graphic novels and has recently discovered Manga. Her favorite book is “Bounce Back” by Misako Rocks.

The “Dive Into Reading This Summer” contest challenges kids to read throughout the summer and then share how many books they read each month. Each book read will count as an entry in a raffle to win a basket of books.

“Congratulations to Isabella, June’s ‘Dive Into Reading This Summer’ book basket winner,” said Brianne Petruzalek, Vice President of Human Resources at Worzalla. “The contest is a fun way to keep children motivated to read through the entire summer. June may be over but participants can still read through July and August.”

Portage County area kids aged 5-17 are invited to participate. On the last day of each month, with adult permission and assistance, local readers can send an email to readmore@worzalla.com with the list of books that were read during that month with the reader’s name, age, and photo of the reader with their favorite book from the month. August is the last month to participate in this year’s contest. More information and contest rules are available at Worzalla.com.

Worzalla is also working with the Portage County Public Library to support their summer reading programs with the goal of inspiring the community to reach their summer reading goals. Worzalla donated 500 children’s books for the Library to use as summer reading rewards and also donated 500 bags that the Library used for their Lit Loot program. The Portage County Public Library’s full roster of programming can be found at pocolibrary.org/youth-family-resources.

Children can participate in both summer reading programs this summer.  More information and contest rules are available at Worzalla.com.
