2024 Fellows Nominations
Nomination Deadline: November 31, 2023
Honorees Announced: March 2024
Award Ceremony: Summer 2024
The Academy Fellows Award recognizes educators, researchers, mentors, artists, and civic or business leaders from across Wisconsin. Being selected as a Fellow is the highest recognition conferred by the Wisconsin Academy. Fellows are honored for demonstrating the highest levels of artistic, scientific, written (letters*) and service accomplishments, or some cross-disciplinary combination of these in their careers; and for their dedication to respectful, civil discourse and public service that benefits the wellbeing of the people of Wisconsin. Nominated individuals must also have or have had a relationship with the state of Wisconsin. Anyone in Wisconsin can make a nomination.
“We all know someone who is a local hero, an absolute treasure and positively impacts many people in our state. This is an important opportunity to give them the recognition that they deserve. While the honor is great, the process to nominate is very easy and in most cases, you can complete it in just a few hours. We encourage people to nominate an esteemed individual who has impacted and inspired many. If they are selected, you and they will be so glad that you did,” says Erika Monroe-Kane, Wisconsin Academy Executive Director.
