Milwaukee – Whether you ring out ahoya, fight-fight-fight for the black and gold, or back Bucky till the very end, this year’s peregrine falcon naming contest is just for you.
We Energies is rallying your team spirit with a special contest in honor of some of Wisconsin’s most beloved college mascots. Make sure your alma mater gets the recognition it deserves by voting to name this year’s chicks after big personalities like Bucky, Pounce and Pio Pete.
The names with the most votes will be given to the falcon chicks that hatch at We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) power plants this spring.
The first two chicks hatched overnight at the Oak Creek Power Plant. More chicks are expected in the coming days and weeks across our nesting sites.
