(Waukesha, WI) – Waukesha County Parks is now seeking candidates for seasonal lifeguard positions at the swimming beaches of Fox Brook Park in Brookfield and Menomonee Park in Menomonee Falls.
Training for required Red Cross Lifeguard and Waterfront Skills certifications will be provided for free to qualified applicants as part of the hiring process.
“Lifeguarding is a great summer job,” said County Executive Paul Farrow. “It is important work for our community and provides invaluable work experience for use throughout a long, successful professional career.”
Waukesha County seeks at least 30 candidates to fill vacant lifeguard positions. Positions are open for candidates 16 years and older from early June through mid-August, 20-40 hours per week at $10.87 – $14.42 / hour depending on experience.
