MILWAUKEE (Nov. 9, 2023) – The Edison, located at 322 N. Broadway in the Historic Third Ward, today announced an exclusive, ticketed Bourbon Black Friday event featuring five curated bourbon flights.
The Edison and several of its affiliated restaurants under Benson’s Restaurant Group have a robust bourbon program, annually visiting the legendary Kentucky Bourbon Trail and other bourbon-centric destinations to tour distilleries. The team chooses the best full barrels to serve in Milwaukee and for special events like Bourbon Black Friday.
The Friday, Nov. 24 event will run from 3-5:30 p.m. and feature five individual bourbon flights, each with limited ticket availability and varying pricing. Being featured are:
- Old Rip Van Winkle,Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 Year Lot B, Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 15 Year — offering 50 tickets at $70 each
- W.L. Weller 12 Year, W.L. Weller Single Barrel, W.L. Weller Full Proof — offering 25 tickets at $40 each
- E.H. Taylor Small Batch, E.H. Taylor Single Barrel, E.H. Taylor Full Proof — offering 25 tickets at $45 each
- Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select, Blanton’s Single Barrel, Stagg Jr. Single Barrel — offering 25 tickets at $40 each
- Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel, Elijah Craig Single Barrel, Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, Elijah Craig 18 Year Single Barrel— offering 25 tickets at $65 each
“We are excited to host bourbon aficionados and together toast to the holiday season with this unique event. The Edison will be providing free to all ticketholders its housemade kettle chips during the tasting event, as well as offering a limited menu of its charcuterie offering, frites and black garlic aioli, and mini croque monsieurs, available for purchase.
