Sheboygan Falls, WI (December 19, 2023) – Reyes Retail increases production capacity by 50% with the acquisition of A&B Embroidery on November 15, 2023. The purchase includes five speciality Tajima embroidery machines. The in-house equipment will streamline the business and services with capabilities of outputting up to 1,000 units per week.
A&B Embroidery was founded in 1995 and has held two locations in Sheboygan County – W5925 Sartori Lane in Plymouth and 1229 Erie Avenue in Sheboygan. A&B Embroidery was a local provider of custom embroidery and uniforms for the past 28 years. A&B Embroidery co-founder Brandon Simenz will continue to operate these machines as the production manager of Reyes Retail. Reyes and Simenz have collaborated and worked together on various projects for the past 15 years.
“The team of specialists at Reyes Retail strives to provide high-quality services for all clients. With Simenz on the team we now have a master embroiderer and specialty equipment under our roof,” said Josue Reyes, owner and CEO.
It takes years to understand the artisan procedures and techniques that go into producing exceptional embroidery. Operating the embroidery machines is an art.

Co-founder and former owner of A&B Embroidery Brandon Simenz is the production manager of Reyes Retail. Simenz is a Sheboygan native with a degree in Microbiology from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He resides in the City of Sheboygan with his three children Skylar, Scarlet and Stella.
ABOUT JOSUE REYES
Josue Reyes, born in Puerto Rico, began his hospitality and retail career in 2001. Reyes’s
experience and expertise in retail stems from working for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company
(Bethesda, Md.) and Marriott International (Bethesda, Md.) at Florida properties and for the
Kohler Co. (Kohler, Wis.). Most recently, Reyes was the Director of Merchandising for
Destination Kohler and Destination St. Andrews (St. Andrews, Scotland) overseeing retail operations and purchasing for various outlets including
Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run Golf Courses, and assisting The Shops at Woodlake Kohler
and The Sports Core Health & Racquet Facility. A 16-year Wisconsin PGA Section Member,
Reyes has been recognized by the golf industry as two-time recipient of the National PGA
Merchandiser of the Year Award – Resort Category in 2013 and 2020 and is a seven-time
recipient of the Wisconsin PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015,
2016, and 2020). Reyes was also awarded The Ritz-Carlton 5-Star Manager Award for his
leadership and contributions at The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, Fla., property. Reyes’s eye for quality
and brand adherence stems from many years working in retail including time with high-end
high-standard 5-Star and 5-Diamond customer service brands. Reyes attended the University of
Central Florida (Orlando, Fla.) where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management. The Reyes family – Josue, wife Melissa and children Roberto and Adriana – reside in Sheboygan.
