Professional Dimensions, one of Milwaukee’s premier professional associations for women, elected its new board directors at its annual meeting on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
Shanee Jenkins, local non-profit executive and director of the YMCA of the USA Thriving Y’s initiative, was elected President for 2023-2024, while Ginny Finn, Chief Development Officer for Milwaukee Area Technical College Foundation, was named President-elect. Rebecca Stoner, Executive Director of the Milwaukee County Parks Foundation, was named chair of the PD Charitable Fund Board of Directors. Katie Dillow, Chief Financial Officer for the Marcus Performing Arts Center, became Immediate Past-President of the PD Board.
Lauren Feaster, Professional Dimensions CEO, led the meeting, including the announcement of Professional Dimensions’ partnership with the Sherman Phoenix Foundation for the Women and Moms Entrepreneurship Project. Professional Dimensions committed $100,000 to the project which serves as a hub to provide coaching, support and funding to women entrepreneurs. Erica Gumieny, who led the selection of PD’s signature project as immediate-past-chair of the charitable fund, shared that PD has donated more than $1.6 million to local projects and initiatives that advance the self-sufficiency of girls.
Feaster’s other updates included growth in PD’s membership and corporate sponsor support, and its commitment to advancing women in leadership. Professional Dimension’s member and Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice-elect Janet Protasiewicz addressed the membership at the annual meeting.
