WISCONSIN DELLS, Wisc. (March 22, 2023) — The Wisconsin Open Season Sportsman’s Expo Presented by Progressive Insurance® & Cam-Am is this weekend in the Wisconsin Dells at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, March 24-26.
This year’s Expo will feature more vendors, more seminars and more family-friendly interactive elements. Parking is free at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions and kids ages 12-under are free.
The Wisconsin Expo features the latest products, gear and equipment for hunting, fishing and outdoor enthusiasts from industry-leading Exhibitors. Many of the Exhibitors offer exclusive “Try, Before You Buy” demo opportunities and special “Show-only” pricing. Attendees can stay on top of their game with the latest products and technology and sharpen their skills by at the Seminar Series led by industry experts.
Always a highlight of the Expo is the Trophy Deer Contest presented by Busch Light in partnership with Deer Mounts of America. Attendees can have their deer measured for its official score, show off the deer and compete for an award.
Highlighting the outdoor industry celebrities, will be famed archery trick shot shooter Byron Ferguson, who will perform his always entertaining show. Chef Jeremy Critchfield, will share tips on Wild Game Cooking. Also part of the seminar series will be Tom Mesnard, discussing Property Management for Whitetails, Robie Pruitt, sharing the ins and outs of Food Plots and Dan Infalt, discussing hunting on public land.
Jeff Frederick will chat about deer hunting, with Art Helin sharing his knowledge of turkey hunting, as well as trapping and Clint Casper will discuss bowhunting in regards to Mule Deer and Elk. Also, the WMLA and the Wisconsin Hunter Education Association will conduct a Muzzleloader Safety Course.
The Expo begins on Friday, March 24 and is open from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m., continues on Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and wraps up on Sunday, March 26 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Open Season Sportsman’s Expo is a fun-filled family experience, including archery ranges for kids and numerous Door Prize giveaways. Save money by purchasing tickets in advance online as ticket prices will increase at the door.
