GREEN BAY, Wis. – On Broadway, Inc. is hosting the Run for the Roses Wine Walk on May 6 from 2 to 7 p.m. The event features wine sampling at more than 15 participating businesses in the Broadway District in downtown Green Bay.
The event falls on the same day as the Kentucky Derby so it is being themed accordingly. Attendees are encouraged to dress in a fancy outfit or costume and accessorize with big hats, pearls and clutches.
Shop for unique products at the many boutique shops, restaurants and other districts along the route. At the end of the wine tour, swing by Old Fort Square to build a beautiful bouquet of flowers, included with event ticket, to take home and enjoy. The flowers will be provided by Petal Pusher.
A Kentucky Derby viewing party is part of your ticket registration this year. It will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on the second floor of The Depot. This part of the event will include hors d’oeuvres, photo-ops, a best dressed contest, and a private race viewing.
Registration is required for this event. Early Bird ticket sales run March 16 through April 15 and cost $40 per ticket. Prices go up after that. This year On Broadway, Inc. is offering a Designated Driver Ticket for $15 which includes non-alcoholic beverages, floral bouquet, and admission to the watch party.
