GREEN BAY, Wis. — On Broadway, Inc. is launching a mini-grant program for artists who would like to take part in the igNight Market in August, September and/or October of this year.
We are seeking qualified designers, artists and/or sculptors to provide an immersive art project at our igNight Markets in 2023. Each project will be displayed in the main gathering area of each market date. Projects can be completed at one market or across the event series. The selected artist will be responsible for the entire production.
“It is our hope to provide attendees with a memorable, unique and distinctive art display to interact with or observe during the event,” said Allie Thut, director of special events, On Broadway, Inc. “It is our goal at On Broadway to engage with the art community and provide them opportunities to earn a livable wage and gain exposure to the public.”
The maximum grant allocation is $2,500 per artist with a total program budget of $10,000. The grant money will go directly to each selected artist to help cover time and materials.
Each applicant is expected to describe their proposed project, upload a proposed project budget, and give examples of past work. The deadline to apply is August 4, 2023.
