Mulva Cultural Center: Memberships now on sale

(De Pere, Wis.) Captivate, inspire, engage and transform. These are just a few of the feelings Mulva Cultural Center leadership hope guests will experience when they visit the 75,000 sq. ft. world-class cultural facility in De Pere. These words are also the inspiration for naming the organization’s membership levels. Six membership levels are now on sale for the Center’s first year.

“There’s a lot of meaning behind everything we’ve chosen for the Center, including the membership level names,” explained Mike Van Asten, President/CEO of the Mulva Cultural Center. “The membership levels offer a variety of price points so there’s something for everyone. No matter which level someone chooses, we want them to be captivated and engaged during their visit, be inspired and driven to innovate when they leave, fascinated to learn more and hopefully transform their perspective on some subjects as well.”

The Mulva Cultural Center will open in November with the inaugural exhibit “Ladies and Gentlemen…The Beatles!” curated by the GRAMMY Museum and Fab Four Exhibits. The exhibit will take guests back to the early ‘60s when Beatlemania was in full swing in America with Fab Four memorabilia, rare photographs and an authentic replica of the Liverpool Cavern Club. In addition to The Beatles exhibit, guests can look forward to “And The Grammy Goes To…” taking guests into the history of the Grammy Awards, how a Grammy is won, how the award is made, rare artifacts and more.

Initially it was expected that the Center would open in September but, as has been the case with many facility projects in the past few years, material backorders and supply chain issues resulted in some delays. The opening is now anticipated in November, with an exact date to be determined in the next few weeks.

“Like many construction projects in recent years, the opening of the Mulva Cultural Center will be pushed back a little bit because of supply chain issues,” said Van Asten. “But, come November, we’ll be ready to welcome guests to see The Beatles exhibit, a photography exhibit in the atrium, the restaurant, Savour, will be open and, if the weather cooperates, the terrace will be open too.”

Exhibits in the 10,000 sq. ft. exhibition hall will require a ticket for entry, but photography and atrium exhibits will be free to all guests. Photography, atrium exhibits and theater shows will also be announced in the coming weeks. Individual tickets to exhibits in the main hall will go on sale in mid-October and ticket prices will be announced closer to that timeframe.
