Milwaukee Press Club: MMAC President Dale Kooyenga to headline Newsmaker Luncheon

MILWAUKEE – Dale Kooyenga, president of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce, will be the guest speaker at a Newsmaker Luncheon set for Wednesday, December 13, hosted by the Milwaukee Press Club and WisPolitics.com.
 
Kooyenga joined the MMAC in January in a newly-created position as senior vice president. He served 12 years in the Wisconsin Legislature, including eight years in the Assembly in the 14^th district and four years in the State Senate in the 5^th district before deciding in 2022 not to seek re-election. A Republican who represented Brookfield and other suburbs west of Milwaukee, he also is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.
 
Kooyenga is a certified public accountant who previously served as CFO for Stonehouse Water Technologies, LLC in Milwaukee’s Global Water Center and held accounting positions at several other firms including as a senior manager – CPA for KPMG.
 
Kooyenga will take questions from a panel of journalists and from the audience at the luncheon, to be moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Maryann Lazarski, series/documentary producer for Milwaukee PBS.

The luncheon is set for 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub, 137 E. Wells St. in Milwaukee.
