Milwaukee Press Club: MMAC President Dale Kooyenga to headline Newsmaker Luncheon

MILWAUKEE – Dale Kooyenga, president of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce, will be the guest speaker at a Newsmaker Luncheon set for Wednesday, December 13, hosted by the Milwaukee Press Club and WisPolitics.com.
 
Kooyenga joined the MMAC in January in a newly-created position as senior vice president. He served 12 years in the Wisconsin Legislature, including eight years in the Assembly in the 14th district and four years in the State Senate in the 5th district before deciding in 2022 not to seek re-election. A Republican who represented Brookfield and other suburbs west of Milwaukee, he also is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.
 
Kooyenga is a certified public accountant who previously served as CFO for Stonehouse Water Technologies, LLC in Milwaukee’s Global Water Center and held accounting positions at several other firms including as a senior manager – CPA for KPMG.
 
Kooyenga will take questions from a panel of journalists and from the audience at the luncheon, to be moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Maryann Lazarski, series/documentary producer for Milwaukee PBS.

The luncheon is set for 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub, 137 E. Wells St. in Milwaukee.
