Midwest Food Products Association: Applauds Selection of Cindy Brown for DATCP Board

Today, the Midwest Food Products Association (MWFPA) touted Governor Evers’ choice of Cindy Brown, President of Chippewa Valley Bean in Menomonie, to complete an unexpired term on the Board of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).

“Under Cindy’s leadership, Chippewa Valley Bean has grown into a globally-recognized food supplier. Her broad experience in agriculture, food processing, and trade matters will serve the DATCP Board and the State of Wisconsin well,” stated Jason Culotta, president of MWFPA. “Governor Evers is wise to engage Cindy in this important role.

Chippewa Valley Bean has become the leading national and global provider of kidney beans and trades in many other dry beans around the world. The company’s growth has been a tremendous success for Dunn County and the Midwest’s vegetable processing industry.
