Green Bay, Wis April 20, 2023 – Despite the significant challenges faced by the trucking industry nationwide, a trucking company based in Green Bay, WI is collaborating with both its employees and clients to flourish while also supporting a local non-profit organization.
Each March since 2019, Lubenow Companies Inc has held its annual Hauling for Good® campaign. During this campaign, a percentage of the proceeds from each mile driven is donated to the Littlest Tumor Foundation, an Appleton-based non-profit that serves children and families facing Neurofibromatosis (NF). NF is a common genetic disorder that causes painful tumors to develop anywhere in the body and often impacts children.
“We are thankful for the funds we have received during the past 5 years from Hauling for Good®,” said Tracy Wirtanen, CEO and Founder of the Littlest Tumor Foundation. “These funds have allowed us to expand our services for those facing Neurofibromatosis (NF).”
But, this year, with a difficult economic outlook for the transportation industry, Lubenow Companies Inc was faced with a choice – Cut back on service in order to reduce expenses, or double-down on serving customers, the community, and their employees.

And while times are certainly tough in the industry, Lubenow Companies Inc, its employees, and customers rallied together to raise a record-breaking $9,153 for The Littlest Tumor Foundation, during this year’s Hauling for Good® campaign.
