Lemberg: Names Kyle Witte as President

Brookfield electrical contracting firm, Lemberg Electric, announces the promotion of Kyle Witte to president, beginning January 2024. Witte has a 28-year history with the company. He has spent the last several years undergoing intensive leadership training for future industry leaders through Lemberg, the National Electrical Contractors Association’s (NECA) Innovation Institute, and the Construction Executive Institute.

“It is our pleasure to name Kyle as the next president of Lemberg Electric,” said Tim Scheid, CEO. “His experience, reputation within the community, and most of all, his rapport with those he will lead make him perfectly suited to take the company forward. Witte’s longevity and reputation for excellence has created a solid foundation for him in the Milwaukee construction market across all industries including healthcare, education and commercial retail.”

Witte was selected by Lemberg’s board of directors after a lengthy search from both within and outside the organization. He will serve as president transitioning into the role under Scheid. His responsibilities include overseeing the direction of the company’s human resources and marketing, as well as all five service areas at Lemberg including, construction and pre-construction, data communications, electrical service, energy technologies, and business signs. He will continue to lead the construction department until a replacement is selected.

“I am extremely honored to have been selected as the next President at Lemberg,” Witte said. “I am excited to help lead the company that has been my home for my entire professional career. In those 28 years, Lemberg has grown and changed, and I have learned so much from those before me. With our leadership team in place, I hope to utilize that knowledge to propel us toward our 100th year in business and beyond.”

Witte’s ascension surpasses the boundaries of the local area. His leadership and influence took the national stage with his selection to NECA’s inaugural Innovation Institute cohort in 2021. He continues to lend his expertise and guidance to new cohorts for the program as well as to national industry audiences.

Witte joined Lemberg in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in construction administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His certifications in Agile Construction®, healthcare construction, and executive management helped him lead Lemberg’s efforts toward lean construction operations. He aims to draw upon the deep knowledge and experience of his predecessors to advance and elevate Lemberg. Witte will also utilize the broad base of technical experience he has amassed while at the company, which includes operations management, computer aided drafting, estimating, large project management, and most recently construction department manager.
