That means you can make your plans to cheer on the Green Bay Packers. Whether you want to attend an away game or you’re flying into town for a home game, it’s never too early to book your flights in to or out of Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB), the official airport of the Green Bay Packers.
“Football season is always an exciting time in Green Bay,” said GRB Airport Director, Marty Piette, A.A.E. “At GRB we are fortunate to have five major carriers that can take Packer fans to the away-game locations at a variety of price points as well as bringing fans right here to GRB, the Gateway to Lambeau Field.”
While planning for your game-day travel, Piette recommends booking your airfare as early as you can as seats usually go fast. “But, having said that, don’t be discouraged if a flight isn’t currently available,” he said. “Airlines do add flights to popular game locations in the months prior to a game. And sometimes, they even add nonstop flights, which fans really love. So keep checking the schedule to see what they’re offering.”
“Our airport, and the Packers, are both important economic engines in Northeast Wisconsin,” said Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach. “We know fans like the convenience of flying in and out of GRB and all of us enjoy in the benefits of the economic impact the games bring to our area.”
This year’s Packers away games take place in Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Denver, Pittsburgh, Detroit, New York, Charlotte and Minneapolis.
