(October 30, 2023 ● Milwaukee, WI) R&B and jazz legend Patrice Rushen is holding a special, invitation-only master class for Greater Milwaukee Urban League partner high school students.
Rushen is the three-time Grammy nominated and award-winning musician and composer who is the headline entertainment for the Greater Milwaukee Urban League Black and White Ball. The Ball is November 4th at 7pm at the Baird Center (formerly the Wisconsin Center), 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue, in downtown Milwaukee.
Rushen offered to host the special session with students while in Milwaukee for the GMUL Ball. Students from North Division High School, Messmer High School, and Pathways High School will attend the 90-minute Master Class. UWM theatre and music students will also be attending.
The event is presented by Greater Milwaukee Urban League and UW-Milwaukee.
