Broadway, Inc., Greater Green Bay Chamber: Rooted In Inc. grand opening and ribbon cutting

GREEN BAY, WI – On Broadway, Inc. and the Greater Green Bay Chamber are co-hosting a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for Rooted In Inc. on Wednesday, September 27 at 4 p.m. at their new location in the Broadway District. The business is located at 330 S. Broadway in downtown Green Bay.

A ribbon cutting will take place promptly at 4 p.m. and include remarks from Kasha Huntowski, Executive Director of the Neville Public Museum Foundation and Board Secretary for On Broadway, Inc.; a representative from the Greater Green Bay Chamber; and Selena Darrow, Executive Director of Rooted In Inc.

“Rooted In Inc. has a strong mission and commitment to helping people in our community secure access to food,” said Brian Johnson, Executive Director for On Broadway, Inc. “Our organization provides creative programming to alleviate disparities in our vulnerable populations and having Rooted In Inc. in the Broadway District will foster new and important opportunities for collaboration. We believe their devotion to seed to table initiatives aligns perfectly with the mission of our established Farmers’ Market on Broadway community event and will contribute to future educational programming goals with our Green Bay Public Market.”
