MILWAUKEE – Benson’s Restaurant Group today revealed specialty food and drink menus, new hours and experiences at each of its six restaurants to help Milwaukeeans ring in the new year.
The Bridgewater Modern Grill, the riverfront restaurant located in Milwaukee’s Harbor District, will be celebrating in style with extended hours from 4 p.m. – 1 a.m., drink specials, live music and a specialty 3- course dinner. Guests will be able to choose from a lobster bisque or duck rillettes, grilled filet mignon and lobster tail, Australian lamb rack or seared scallops, and flourless chocolate cake or pumpkin cheesecake.
Benson’s Restaurant Group’s newest restaurant, The Edison, will also bring a 3-course dinner special to its upscale Historic Third Ward restaurant. For $55 per meal or $90 for two, guests can choose between lobster bisque, a house salad or Caesar salad; salmon oscar, tenderloin medallions, pasta or roasted half chicken; and flourless chocolate cake or NY cheesecake. The restaurant will close at midnight, ending the evening with a complimentary champagne toast.

AJ Bombers will be open until 9 p.m. and will feature a specialty Prosseco Float cocktail and two burger specials – Fancy ($14) will include two ¼ lb patties, truffle aioli, gruyere cheese, bacon jam and arugula on a brioche roll and Surf and Turf ($24) will include two ¼ lb patties, American cheese, caramelized onions and lobster mac and cheese on a brioche roll.
Smoke Shack, open until 9 p.m., will feature a 20 oz smoked prime rib meal ($60 for two), Elijah Craig Private Barrel Pick Old Fashioned ($20) and $5 off any bourbon flights that night. Onesto, open from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., will feature specialty items like Lobster Campanile and Limoncello Parfait dessert, as well as cocktail specials, including a 1920’s Old Fashioned and Tiramusi Marini. Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, open from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., will supplement its menu with an Aleppo Pepper Pork Chop entrée and a Classic Tequila Sour specialty cocktail.
