MADISON, Wis. –Agrace has hired Beth Larson of Middleton as its chief development officer. Agrace is a nonprofit, community-supported health care organization that provides hospice care, supportive (palliative) care, non-medical personal care, adult day services and grief support to residents of southern Wisconsin.
As chief development officer, Larson leads the Agrace Foundation, which coordinates donations and fundraising to support Agrace’s mission. She is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of Agrace’s fund development programs, such as annual appeals, planned giving, capital campaigns, grants, special events and corporate donor development.
Larson’s professional experience includes serving as the vice president of development for Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, a nonprofit which supports low-income families in finding affordable housing. She serves on the board of Association of Fundraising Professionals–Greater Madison chapter. She has more than a decade of experience in nonprofit management, specializing in major gift fundraising, institutional giving and community engagement. Larson received her MBA from the University of Wisconsin School of Business with a focus on nonprofit administration and holds an undergraduate degree from UW–Madison.
Agrace’s hospice and supportive (palliative) care services help people across southern Wisconsin who have serious illness or life-limiting illnesses. While Medicare, Medicaid and private health insurance cover the cost of these services for most Agrace patients, donations to the Agrace Foundation allow Agrace to provide other essential programs and services that are not funded by insurance, such as charity care, community grief support, CNA advancement, the Agrace Wish Program and more.
