Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce: Celebrates Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month

Brookfield, Wis. – September 3, 2021 – The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) is excited to celebrate Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month. The Brookfield Chamber will spend the month bringing attention to the value they provide to both their members and the business community.

The GBCC plays a vital role in making sure southeastern Wisconsin is a vibrant place to do business. It helps strengthen the local economy through education and economic development. In addition, it promotes tourism, business-focused programming and community events.

Carol White, president and CEO said, “Over the past year, and with the challenges of COVID, the GBCC has been there for our investors. We stepped up and kept them informed of the ever- changing landscape and became their “go to” resource for everything from local, state and federal updates, to keeping them in the know on financial resources available and signing off on grant applications and more. As a result, we gained 140+ new members to the chamber.”

“We were pleased to be recognized by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) at their Focus on the Future Awards in the Pivot Not Panic category. The GBCC, along with other business organizations, are crucial to the business community. This is a time we can celebrate how we serve our communities,” continued White.

GBCC is partnering with Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce – the state chamber of commerce – and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to recognize all our efforts at a local, state, and national level. Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month is all September long, and will include the Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives Annual Conference in Green Bay from September 28-30, 2021.
