Studio 44: Long-time employee purchases business

DE PERE, Wis. – Studio 44, the Midwest’s premiere commercial photography, video, and CGI studio specializing in food, consumer products, and location shoots, is now operating under the ownership of Shaun Pitts, experienced photographer and cinematographer.

With more than 20 years in the industry, Pitts has dedicated almost half that time at Studio 44. His background and experience in photography and cinematography is expansive and focuses on telling clients’ stories through compelling imagery and video. When the opportunity arose to purchase the company, it was a no-brainer for Pitts.

“I love this industry, and I’m passionate about the work we do for our clients at Studio 44,” Pitts said. “Not only do we have the opportunity to capture enticing photography and video, we get to be creative storytellers with our clients as they work to differentiate themselves in their industries.”

As the new leader behind the studio, Pitts is looking forward to expanding the business and moving it forward while continuing to build and foster valued client relationships.

“Stepping in as the new owner of Studio 44 is an honor, and I’m humbled to be leading such a talented and driven team of professionals,” Pitts said. “While we grow the company, Studio 44 will continue to be versatile with a focus on photography, video, 3D cinematography, and animation.”

Studio 44 has a food stylist on staff and has carved out a niche in food photography, working with many nationally known food brands. In addition, the company works in industries such as trucking, furniture, retail, and sports, and it also completes corporate and lifestyle photography.

Pitts graduated from UWM with a B.A. of Fine Arts in Film and a minor in English. He grew up in Green Bay and has strong roots in Northeast Wisconsin.
