NEW SCIONS MATCH UP PERFECTLY WITH THE ACTIVE MADISON-AREA LIFESTYLE
MADISON, WI– It’s no secret Madison and the surrounding areas are known for healthy, active lifestyles. The city consistently ranks within nationwide top-10 lists for cycling, running, skiing, boating, and many other activities. Year-round, residents young and old strive to keep fit, have fun and express their adventurous side in their own unique way.
With this busy, expressive and focused way of life in mind, Scion is about to launch two new insanely customizable vehicles to keep up with the demands of hobbyists, travelers and free spirits alike – all while maintaining an eco-friendly stance, something else Madison is renowned for.
The new Scion iA sports sedan and Scion iM five-door hatch will be available in the Madison area beginning September 1. Smart Scion Ambassador, Donnie Taylor had the opportunity to test drive both models and is extremely excited to offer them to guests.
“The first thing people are going to notice about the Scion iA and Scion iM is how they don’t look like traditional Scions,” Taylor says. “In 2003, when the first Scions were introduced, the xB quickly became known as the ‘angry toaster.’ These new models are far more classic, cool and edgy, and they can be tricked out in ways to suit just about any active lifestyle.”
Aside from design and outstanding fuel economy (iA: 33/37/42, iM: 28/32/37), Taylor says he’s eager to introduce southern Wisconsin to the vehicles for their low price points and stellar standard features. The MSRP of each vehicle is $16,495 for the iA and $19,255 for the iM. And both vehicles come equipped with 7” touch screens with audio recognition, airbags, backup cameras, cruise control and power windows, locks and exterior mirrors.
The Scion iM has already been named by Kelley Blue Book as one of the top-10 cars for back-to-school. And with Scion’s standard mono-spec pricing, Taylor says young people and first-time car buyers don’t have to be afraid to stop by Smart Scion to check out any of the Scion models.
“With Scion’s no-haggle, no hassle, Pure Price,” says Taylor. “Customers walk out the door with the exact same price they saw posted at the dealership, on the dealer’s website and on the car itself.”
But, as one who has driven both vehicles, Taylor says he is perhaps most excited about having people take the new Scions out for a test drive.
“I was so lucky to get a sneak peek at the new Scions, but I was really lucky to be able to test them out on a road course in Texas,” he says. “And I have to tell you: the term ‘everyday, spirited performance’ is no lie. In fact, the new Scions outperformed all other vehicles in their class, including the likes of the Mazda 3, Hyundai Elantra, Ford Focus, Hyundai Accent, Chevrolet Sonic and Ford Fiesta.”
Taylor says the crazy amount of customizations will fit with Madison residents’ adherence to their active lifestyles, whether one is going to the cabin by the lake, biking the trails or taking a ski trip.
“The Scion iA and iM are remarkably agile and versatile cars,” he says. “They will definitely get you safely where you want to go in style and comfort.”
