Expansion of Services Drives Growth, New Client Acquisition
Milwaukee (February 10, 2014) – Primum Marketing Communications introduces two new additions to their rapidly growing team, Account Services Intern Brittany Bandie and Public Relations Intern Sara Nelson. Over the course of the spring semester, they will contribute to the company’s robust business-to-business marketing and public relations campaigns, centered around strategic content and ongoing management.
Racine native Bandie is a recent graduate of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a concentration in advertising and public relations. She enjoys Primum’s tight-knit team and expects that her internship will allow her to learn about different aspects of agency life that contribute to client success.
“My experience with Primum so far has been great,” Bandie said. “Everyone has been very welcoming and more than happy to help me learn about our clients’ businesses. I am looking forward to seeing our projects really come to life.”
While at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Bandie was a member of the UWM Ad Club and Public Relations Student Society of America. She was also involved with the United Adworkers student sector where she networked with Milwaukee professionals.
Current University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student Nelson majors in advertising and public relations while also holding a degree in film and video production from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, Calif. The Fredonia native says Primum’s friendly, creative and down-to-earth atmosphere appealed most to her in her internship search.
“The Primum team’s hands-on approach and trust in me makes it easy to have fun while gaining real world agency experience,” said Nelson. “I’m excited for the opportunity to interact with the media while learning how to pitch effectively.”
Also a member of the UWM Ad Club, Nelson volunteered as a teaching assistant for UWM’s summer program College for Kids, instructing middle school students in a class on career discovery. She is also a volunteer for the Milwaukee Film Festival and hopes to volunteer again for their 2014 festival.
