In celebration of their 60th Anniversary, the La Crosse nameplate manufacturer Mcloone has partnered with Viterbo University to host a conference and luncheon for businesses and non-profit organizations on Thursday, May 22nd. The discussions, broken into morning and afternoon segments, will cover social media, email marketing and mobile marketing.
Jeff Ferrazzo, Regional Development Director for Constant Contact, has been invited as a guest speaker to discuss improving relationships with customers, clients, partners, and more. Conversation topics will include “Build your Marketing Toolkit”, “Email Campaigns that Drive Action”, and “Making the Case for Mobile” for business owners, and a talk on the” 4 Pillars of Marketing Success” coupled with “Newsletters and Announcements that feature email and social engagement” for non-profit companies.
Instead of charging a fee for the morning session, we are asking for a non-perishable food item or monetary donation for WAFER Food Pantry. The luncheon session will require a $10 admission fee, but all proceeds generated will be distributed to two of the attending non-profit agencies via drawing.
Mcloone and Viterbo University are excited about the rare opportunity to gather some of Wisconsin’s largest organizations in the same location. “La Crosse is a small community, and we don’t always have the opportunity to hear a national speaker with ties to such great organizations as Constant Contact and Facebook” shares Lynn Krenz, Marketing Manager of Mcloone.
When asked about this event, Tom Knothe, Dean of the Dahl School, said he is proud of these outreach activities, “We are living out our mission through these offerings – we are helping prepare faithful servants and ethical leaders!”
Organizations, businesses, and other groups seeking expert guidance in social media, e-mail marketing, and mobile marketing are urged to attend. Viterbo University, Mcloone, and Constant Contact hope that all who come to hear Ferrazzo will leave with a deeper understanding of how to enhance public relations within the community. Several businesses have already reserved seats at the conference for their representatives, with many more likely to follow suit in the near future.
