Third consumer mortgage office to open this year;
10+ newly created jobs at Brookfield office
Madison, WI, May 6, 2013—Wisconsin Bank & Trust announced plans to open a dedicated mortgage lending office in Brookfield, marking the bank’s first entry into the metro Milwaukee market. The bank expects to employ 10 to 14 mortgage loan originators and two to four operations employees at the Brookfield location, which will open mid-June at 20300 Watertower Road, Suite 210.
“We see outstanding opportunity in the mortgage market, at a time when some ‘big banks’ are shrinking their mortgage-lending presence in the Milwaukee area and even closing offices,” said Kevin Tenpas, Wisconsin Bank & Trust president. “Our expansion strategy focuses on delivering the level of service customers expect from community banks, as well as attractive loan pricing.”
Wisconsin Bank & Trust is based in Madison and has 10 branch offices across the state, including the Green Bay, Sheboygan, Monroe, and Southwest Wisconsin areas. Previously this year, the bank announced new dedicated mortgage lending offices on the east side of both Green Bay and Madison, augmenting its existing operations elsewhere in those regions. The Brookfield location differs in that it represents the bank’s initial move into the Milwaukee area.
