Wilde Automotive Group, Jorge Hidalgo: New $10 million Honda store celebrates grand opening

MADISON, WI – Wilde Automotive Group and Jorge Hidalgo hosted about 200 guests to celebrate the Grand Opening of Wilde East Towne Honda located at 5555 High Crossing Boulevard in Madison on April 3. Wilde East Towne Honda is now one of the top five dealerships for Honda new car sales in Wisconsin and currently ranks in the top 10 dealerships in the Midwest zone for Certified Honda sales.

The new Honda dealership is a minority owned business. Jorge Hidalgo, a former Harley-Davidson executive, partnered with Wilde Automotive Group to establish the dealership.

Grand Opening visitors toured the three levels of the 52,000 sq.ft. facility which maximizes land use by housing the service area on the lower level and the showroom on the upper level. Visitors experienced its numerous sustainable features including a 5,000 sq.ft. live green roof over the service reception drive with adjoining kids’ play area, as well as the saltwater aquarium with colorful fish in the customer lounge.

Wilde and Hidalgo are elated to bring to Madison its expertise in world class service and demonstrated volume efficiency that has greatly benefited their customers. Sales department operating hours are Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 8PM and Saturday 8:30AM to 5PM.
