Attorney Jeff Goldman elected to coard of Madison estate council
MADISON – The law firm of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C. today announced Jeff Goldman was elected to the board of the Madison Estate Council on April 23, 2012. Goldman has been with the firm since 2006.
The Madison Estate Council is made up of professionals representing four general disciplines: estate planning attorneys, trust/fiduciaries, CPA’s/accountants, and insurance advisors. The goal of the group is to enhance knowledge of estate planning topics, foster an understanding of how the disciplines interrelate, and encourage quality professional services to the public. The council is also a member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC).
Goldman practices in DeWitt’s Trust & Estates and Litigation Practice Groups and focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration and trust, estate and fiduciary litigation. His clients include everyday people in need of estate planning; beneficiaries of estates or trusts; personal representatives and trustees; banks and trust companies; businesses and individuals needing representation in disputes; and charitable entities looking to achieve tax-exempt status and maintain federal and state compliance.
He is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Wisconsin Law School where he teaches estate and trust administration and dispute resolution. Goldman earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington. He is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, New York and Washington and is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, Wisconsin County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and Washington State Bar Association. He is a resident of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
