MADISON, Wis. (July 20, 2011) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Elyce M. Wos, an associate in the Firm’s Madison office, was appointed to a one-year term on the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Diversity Outreach Committee.

Ms. Wos is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. She is a business litigator with experience handling breach of contract actions, shareholder disputes and insurance subrogation matters. She recently received a Pro Bono Award from the Seventh Circuit Bar Association for the representation of two state prisoners that resulted in substantial changes in the way segregated prisoners are treated in the Wisconsin prison system. She received her law degree, magna cum laude, master’s, and bachelor’s degree, with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin.
