RACINE, WI. December 27, 2011. Dan Defnet, Chief Credit Officer for Johnson Financial Group recently named John J. Mau Senior Vice President, Director of Corporate Credit Administration for the company.
In his new role, Mau will focus on refining the bank’s credit process, while working in partnership with the Regional Presidents and commercial banking teams
“Adding John’s experience to our credit team will help us gain efficiencies in many areas of credit administration,” said Defnet.
Mau brings nearly 25 years of industry experience with him. Most recently, Mau served as Senior Corporate Manager managing credit and loan operations at BMO/M&I Bank.
Mau earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and his Master of Science degree in Investments and Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
A resident of Delafield, Mau is an active member of his community. He is the former Wisconsin Chapter President and Board Member of Risk Management Association (RMA) and also served as the Finance Committee Chair and Board Member of the Dane County Mental Health Center. Mau has been an active youth coach throughout the years coaching both soccer and basketball.
