MILWAUKEE — Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. announced that Dillon J. Ambrose joined the firm as a litigation associate in its Milwaukee office.

A litigation attorney with eight years of experience as a Navy JAG officer, Ambrose was involved extensively in trial and appellate work. He handled numerous trial level courts-martial (prosecuting and defending), and represented more than 70 convicted Sailors and Marines in appeals before the Navy-Marine Corps of Criminal Appeals, Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States Supreme Court. Ambrose also has provided legal assistance to more than 1,000 military clients, providing him with exposure to a broad range of legal issues.
While in the military, Ambrose was named Military Justice Officer of the Year for the Entire Navy JAG Corps in 2008 and also was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal three times and the Navy Achievement Medal twice.
Most recently, Ambrose clerked for a federal district court judge in Washington D.C., where he managed more than 70 active cases, and consulted with the Judge on numerous legal issues. Ambrose earned his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University.
