(SHG) based in Freeport, Illinois announced that Fitchburg Lodging LLC, in which they are an investor, has acquired the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Madison Southwest, Wisconsin location effective Thursday, June 24. David Swift, President and CEO, announced that the 69-room Madison hotel has been added to SHG’s expanding list of lodging properties throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. This portfolio addition brings the company’s total number of hotels under management to 14.
