— Gov. Jim Doyle has signed an agreement with leaders from seven Midwestern states to work together to get federal money to develop the Midwest high-speed rail corridor. The agreement, announced at the Midwest High Speed Rail Summit in Chicago, establishes a steering group to coordinate state applications for high-speed rail to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
