Thomas plant move a blow to Sheboygan: Gardner Denver Inc. announced Monday that it will close its Thomas Products manufacturing division in Sheboygan, where it employs 366 people, and move the operation to Monroe, La.

Aurora to Twitter during surgery: Aurora Health Care will be the first hospital system in Wisconsin to provide live updates of a surgery on the fast-growing social network Twitter. The Milwaukee-based health care system’s staff will provide a running commentary, updates of activities and photos of the bi-lateral knee replacement. Twitter users will continuously receive messages of 140 characters or less, called ‘Tweets’ and images through ‘TwitPic’.
