— Three Wisconsin congressmen have sent a letter to U.S. trade representative Ron Kirk in support of U.S. marine manufacturers. U.S. Sens. Russ Feingold and Herb Kohl and U.S. Rep. Tom Petri ask Kirk to engage with Brazil after the World Trade Organization allowed that country to impose retaliatory duties against U.S. imports, specifically outboard style marine engines, over a dispute regarding cotton. RedPrairie may make more acquisitions after IPO : RedPrairie Corp. has strong technology and will likely be adding to it by making more acquisitions after launching its initial public offering, local observers say. The Town of Brookfield business software supplier last week filed with federal securities regulators to hold an IPO that will seek to raise as much as $172.5 million, according to the registration documents.
