— Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says Bank of America will begin notifying Wisconsin borrowers who may be eligible for payments under a settlement agreement involving Wisconsin and 39 other states. The foreclosure relief program involves loans originated by Countrywide Financial, which was purchased by Bank of America in 2008. The settlement means up to $150 million nationally to provide assistance for certain borrowers who experienced a foreclosure or short sale on their Countrywide mortgage. — GE Oil & Gas filed notice of 93 permanent layoffs in Oshkosh. The layoffs are to occur in September. — Probuild North LLC filed notice of its intent to close a facility in Racine, affecting 42 employees. The first layoffs are expected to occur on July 22 and continue through Sept. 20.
