MADISON, Wis. (December 2, 2004) — After holding numerous executive positions within the footwear industry and most recently Capital Newspapers in Madison, Wis. as head of Circulation Sales and Marketing, Mike Park has joined the Madison-based communication firm Planet Propaganda as Business Development Director.
Planet’s goal is to continue a focus on establishing close relationships with desire-based brands. This new position allows the creative firm to make strategic planning decisions as related to adding value to the types of businesses that mesh with its abilities in the areas of design, advertising, and active media.
In 1987, Mike completed his active duty as a Captain in the Military Intelligence Branch of the United States Army stationed in Europe, and was fortunate to serve under General Colin Powell while he commanded V Corps in Europe. He is a Graduate of The University of Alabama, The United States Army Officer Intelligence Center and School, and completed the Wharton School General Manager Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mike lives on the Isthmus in Madison with his wife and two children, and declares it the best place to live in America.
