MILWAUKEE – EDCi, a full-service technology and communication solutions provider with two locations in Wisconsin, will host Envision 2018 on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The free one-day conference will explore how artificial intelligence is changing the customer experience and will be held at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The conference is open to the public. Seating is limited, and registration is available online at edci.com/envision2018.

A first of its kind, Envision 2018 will host six sessions that dive into AI’s potential impact on customer experiences. Through these sessions, attendees will learn about opportunities for AI implementation and how AI integration can improve the customer experience, increase business productivity and create a competitive edge in the market.

“With AI being a broad term constantly used in the technology industry, we thought it was time to narrow the conversation down to a specific topic of impact: the customer experience,” Jake Beyer, EDCi director of customer care, said. “We’re excited to host Envision 2018 and educate others about how AI can enhance customer experiences, as each of our speakers will offer a unique perspective on the future of AI.”

The keynote speaker, Oliver Buechse, is the founder of My Strategy Source and co-founder of Advancing AI Wisconsin and has analyzed disruptive technology since 2016. With Advancing AI Wisconsin, he works to spread awareness about AI and other digital disruption technologies, help leaders understand the significance they’ll have for Wisconsin businesses and help organizations recognize the beneficial outcomes of adopting the technology.

In addition, the event’s last session will discuss AI’s role in company culture and employee retention while addressing employees’ concerns with AI implementation. Other sessions will discuss predictive analytics, how AI can reduce customer calls in contact centers and IBM Watson’s suite of enterprise-ready AI services. Envision 2018 concludes with a happy hour and networking event.

Envision 2018 Speakers: Oliver Buechse, founder of My Strategy Source, co-founder of Advancing AI Wisconsin; Jake Beyer, director of customer care, EDCi; Paul O’Dwyer, sales engineering manager, Genesys; Steve Choquette, product manager for strategic partnerships, IBM; Matthew David, innovation product manager, QBE North America; and Chad Kopitzke, founder, NeXtGen Advantage.
