Department of Financial Institutions: Moving Madison offices

MADISON – The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) will move its Madison offices to the new Hill Farms State Office Building effective Friday, May 4. The new offices, on Madison’s west side, are located at 4822 Madison Yards Way, North Tower, Madison, WI 53705.

DFI’s last day of business at its current location, 201 W. Washington Ave., will be Thursday, May 3. DFI will re-open for business at 7:45 a.m. on May 4 at the new location. All of DFI’s phone numbers, e-mail addresses and post office box numbers will remain unchanged. Information for visitors to the Hill Farms building, including driving directions, can be found on the DFI website, www.wdfi.org.

The 600,000-square-foot Hill Farms State Office Building, at the corner of North Segoe Road and University Avenue, has nine floors and a North and South Tower. DFI offices will be located on the fourth and fifth floors of the North Tower. Other state agencies that will be housed at Hill Farms are the Department of Administration-Division of Hearings and Appeals, the Department of Employee Trust Funds, the Department of Safety and Professional Services, the Department of Transportation, the Higher Education Aids Board, the Office of the Commissioner of Railroads and the Public Service Commission.
