Eau Claire, WI – For the seventh time, Phillips-Medisize has received recognition as a Green Master in the Wisconsin Green Masters Program. The Green Masters Program recognizes and assesses Wisconsin businesses on their sustainability performance in a variety of sustainability categories.

Phillips-Medisize, LLC, is a leading global outsource provider of design and manufacturing services to the drug delivery, consumable diagnostics, medical device, and specialty commercial markets. Phillips-Medisize’s core advantage to customers is the knowledge of its people to integrate design, molding, and automation, providing innovative, high-quality manufacturing solutions.

“We are honored to be chosen for the Green Masters distinction once again, which recognizes the environmental stewardship put forth by our people and company over the past year. Some of Phillips-Medisize’s projects in 2017 were the continuation of our ‘net-zero’ waste to energy program and the development and implementation of our waste-to-energy program to include all mixed plastics waste. Sustainable business practices such as these allow organizations, like ours, to cost-effectively produce quality products and services, while contributing positively to the environment,” remarks Matt Jennings, Phillips-Medisize CEO and President.

The program is grounded in an in-depth survey where points are rewarded for a variety of actions. These actions are grouped into areas that include: Energy, Climate, Workforce, Governance, and Community and Educational Outreach. Phillips-Medisize has proven their dedication and commitment to sustainability through advancing in the program.

“Phillips-Medisize has implemented creative strategies which define them as a leader in sustainability,” says Tom Eggert, Executive Director of the WI Sustainable Business Council. “Phillips-Medisize has made going green personal in terms of their strategy. They’ve adopted environmental and social programs that benefit their community, employees, and their customers.”
