Edgewood College: Hosts College Readiness & Success Summit

Madison, Wis. (December 12, 2017) – Edgewood College cordially invites the community of Greater Madison to the 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. College Readiness & Success Summit.

This educational summit honors and celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy and advocacy for equal opportunity for all, and presents an opportunity to get a jump-start on college planning. The event is designed to help students navigate the college admissions and financial aid process. High school students of color, first-generation students, and parents are encouraged to attend.

Topics covered during the summit include how to choose the right college, writing personal statements and scholarship essays, financing a college education, and much more.

The Summit takes place 9:45 am-2:00 pm, Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Edgewood College.

The 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. College Readiness & Success Summit is presented in partnership with The College Station, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Madison Alumni Chapter, and the Urban League of Greater Madison.
