Visitors will also see upgrades in the clothing department and new brands in pet and agriculture. There is new state-of-the-art equipment in the automotive service center. And you’ll want to try their drive-thru experience where you can buy bulk product like softener salt, wood pellets and bulk feed just like a drive thru window. Or you can use farmandfleet.com to place your order and fly through the drive thru to pick up.

In all, this is an incredible upgrade of a beloved store. “The community of Rice Lake means the world to me – this is where Blain’s was born,” says Jane Blain Gilbertson, Owner and President, Blain’s Farm and Fleet. “My dad, Bert and Uncle Claude opened this store in August of 1955, it has been home to rich traditions and memories for more than 60 years now. It is my mission to continue the family legacy that started 62 years ago while also growing and changing with the times. The communities we serve have always been at the heart of our success. Blain’s Farm and Fleet takes great pride in enhancing the lives of our Midwestern shoppers by offering top quality merchandise at fair and honest prices everyone can afford.”

Loyal store associates are excited by all of the great changes in their store and they are looking forward to sharing them with their friends and neighbors during this exciting Rice Lake Remodel Celebration. “My family has been doing business with the Blain’s family since the 1930’s,” says Tom Bednarek, a Rice Lake store associate. “They started out trading firewood for a vehicle at the Blain’s dealership and later, Bert sold my grandfather his first McCormick milking machine, a new product on the market at that time. My dad (Don) has told many stories of our family’s relationship with the Blains. For three generations, we’ve felt a great deal of loyalty and respect for them.”

This event may mark the introduction of a remodeled store, but they still offer the same fair and honest value on which the company was founded. Blain’s remains one of the few retailers committed to both selling and servicing small engine equipment as introduced decades ago by Founder, Bert Blain. Farm and Fleet continues to uphold Bert’s mantra for customers and employees alike: “If it’s in our store, it’s going to be quality. No gimmicks, no tricks, no cheap, shoddy workmanship – just the top brands at great Blain’s prices.”

Blain’s offers top apparel labels like Levis, Carhartt, Ariat, Reebok, Under Armour and Wolverine, riding mowers and lawn tractors like Cub Cadet and Troy-Built, and the addition of outdoor power equipment from Stihl (which is the company’s largest display for Stihl brand). Home improvement tools and necessities for contractors and homeowners including Dewalt and Milwaukee as well as Benjamin Moore and Valspar paint. Blain’s carries top automotive products like BFGoodrich, Pennzoil, Fram, Monroe, AC Delco, Cooper, Michelin. Blain’s has expanding their sporting goods department, adding new brands like Hawk Hunting tree stands, Kershaw knives, and Rinehart archery targets and too many brands to mention in areas like gun safes and hunting accessories. The sporting goods department will continue to expand in the spring with fishing accessories. Midwestern shoppers have trusted Farm and Fleet for decades to provide the best for their pets and livestock with brands like Blue Buffalo, Science Diet, Purina, and Nutrena and have added new brands like Rachel Ray Delish, Kent and Triple Crown horse feed.
