Evansville and Monticello, Wisc- May 15, 2017: Bill McDonald, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Greenwoods Financial Group and Warren Laube, President of Greenwoods State Bank announced today that Mike Powers has joined the Greenwoods Bank Team in Evansville, Wisconsin.

understanding and commitment to our customers. His skills and expertise are the complement to our
Greenwoods Team that we have been searching for,” said McDonald.
Powers, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Platteville, has worked in agriculture, politics,
economic development and recently specialized tax credit financing.
“Mike brings to Greenwoods an extraordinarily unique commitment to the people of Green and Rock
Counties. Many of our current and future customers have known Mike through the years. He grew up
working in area businesses and farms; managed ag and conservation programs; represented us in the State Capitol; and has served in local government and a as a community volunteer,” said Laube.
Powers will work in business development from the Evansville location, closely connected to Greenwoods Monticello branch. It’s an area in which Powers’ roots run deep. He and his family reside in rural Green County, near Attica. A location Powers described as “in the heart of the Evansville and Monticello markets.”
