MILWAUKEE, Wis. (August 20, 2012) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Jonathan Stone is now an associate attorney in its Intellectual Property Group, having recently received his law degree from Marquette University. He had been a patent agent in the firm’s Milwaukee office for the last five years.
Stone focuses his practice on assisting clients in a range of intellectual property issues—with emphasis in the areas of patent prosecution and patent licensing—and has significant experience working with academic and healthcare research institution clients. His practice includes drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in the medical imaging, medical physics, and medical device arts; conducting reviews in matters related to patentability; and advising on licensing matters, including patent licensing strategies.
Stone received both a masters degree in medical physics and bachelors degree in physics from the University of Wisconsin.
